Preparing children for pregnancy

The time you find your pregnancy, you mean to everyone including your children. The way you tell your children depends on their age, older children will understand what it means when you tell them you are pregnant or they will be a brother or sister soon. However, the toddler is a little harder to explain.

Think about your child's personality when it comes time to tell them. You know your child better. They can enjoy sending small clues as you did it with three, or they may just want you to say. You can get lucky and have them walk around the room while you publish it. What happens to me when I expected number of children 4. I just came out of the bathroom waving the wand in the air to show my husband. I have no idea where my child entered the room until I hear them screaming out I was pregnant. Oops.

Their reaction
Do not be shocked if your child's first remote operation, many children will react to news of their own way. Your kids can not even begin to pretend pregnant with you, to imitate everything you do. Even if a child can tell you they do not want you to take home a new baby. These are all common reactions to news, how you handle it will determine the result.

If your child seems reluctant to want another child at home, you may want to know why. The only way to know what is bugging him / her is required. Maybe they are just afraid that you love them, or that people will forget it / her when the baby is born.

Show them they are important too
A good way to do is make sure they get something this time the baby is born, some doctors give the sibling their own dolls when siblings are born. Try to read with their children to show them that it would be a good thing. Dad can always spend some one on one time with them.

On your child during pregnancy
This is his baby too, have your child go with you some of the doctor's visit. Let them hear the heart beat of her sister and brother. See their faces light up when they see the first baby on the screen. There are many ways you can affect them, you can encourage them to help you decide on a name. Try to feel the baby move for the first time by placing his hand on the abdomen to swell.

It is easy to prepare for the arrival of new siblings as long as you involve them in pregnancy on the road. They will be happy as a part of it and feel more of a connection to the child when he / she was born.
